Vision
The students of P.S. 213 will receive a high quality academic and socially enriched education. Students will take ownership for managing their behavior and emulating good citizenship practices that will result in positive contributions to their community. Students will be supplied with the educational tools necessary for successful outcomes. At the completion of their education at PS 213 students will be able to communicate successfully through speech, writing, reading, and listening. The members of our community will be life-long learners, flexible, adaptable to change, responsible, accountable, and will become active participants in our society.
Mission
The mission of PS 213 is to provide a nurturing, performance driven educational environment where the needs of our multicultural population are met in a creative and literacy focused atmosphere driven by technological advancement. In order to accomplish these goals, a collaborative effort between staff, parents, community, and business will be a necessity. As a result, students will become life long learners, who are socially skilled problem solvers, functioning successfully in a technologically diverse global society
